Stanford Blood Center Joins
National Blood Collaborative (NBC) announced the addition of Stanford Blood Center (SBC), headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, to its membership.
As a national organization of affiliated blood centers, NBC provides an environment to pursue innovative business initiatives that support the communities and hospital customers NBC serves. “The addition of SBC complements the current NBC membership, while their highly successful management team will help us deliver on our strategic plan. Our members are thrilled to have such an innovative and community-oriented blood center join NBC”, stated Wendy Trivisonno, President of NBC.

SBC also provides tailored blood products and clinical trial services for numerous research programs. Today, the center also provides blood products, infectious disease screening, and histocompatibility testing services to multiple community hospitals.
