About: LifeServe Blood Center is a non-profit, community-based blood center that has served the needs of local hospitals and patients in our regions since 1947. As one of the 15 largest blood centers in the country, LifeServe provides blood products to more than 175 hospitals primarily in Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Illinois. Successful decades-long partnerships with these medical centers secured LifeServe a reputation as a trusted local blood center. Stacy Sime, CEO

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Stacy Sime has helped LifeServe Blood Center grow to serve four Midwestern states and more than 175 community hospitals. She is active in the industry, serving as chair of Blood Centers of America, the National Blood Testing Cooperative and the National Blood Cooperative. She remains on the boards of all three organizations. Stacy participated in the AABB Administrative Think Tank, authoring a paper on furthering the relationships between blood centers and hospitals. Most recently she was appointed to represent the industry on the Advisory Committee on Blood and Tissue Safety and Availability.
